Been listening to Tom Waites, since the late seventies, when I heard, 'In the neighbourhood', on a music show on TV. Unlike a lot of stuff, I've never grown tired of listening to his storytelling.

We played this song at my older brothers funeral,its one of the saddest songs ever written,my brother loved it, i hope he is happy now because he battled depression and was very intelligent person,he was reading alot of philosophy and was preparing for his death.I really felt guilty for a long time about his death,but im finally getting to where i can deal with it now,i just live for the moment and appreciate every minute of the day,to anyone that has a sibling or child that has committed suicide i pray that you are able to deal with it and that there is help for those suffering from depression,God bless and wish everyone the best..

I’m listening to this thinking of how much I’ve failed life so far…I’m 12 and already considering suicide…I just wish someone would understand how hard it is to hide behind a smile….knowing it’s always my fault ,knowing it’s always me in the wrong…hurting myself….and constantly blaming myself for everything….even my fathers death…my cats death…seizures…getting hit by a car….adhd…everything….i never get a break I just want someone to know the pain and suffering it is to know that you were left but your father and your making it harder and harder for your mom to live every day….why was I born…why me..?
